Since 2011, San Diego’s clean beauty studio for lashes, brows, skin, and permanent makeup. Founded by Jamie Justo on one principle: never put anything on a client’s face that we wouldn’t use on our own. Two locations, one curated collective, fourteen years of damage-free reputation.

What we stand for

Three things we won't compromise.

The studio was built around three principles. They show up in every product we choose, every artist we hire, and every appointment we book.

  • Damage-free, always

    Every adhesive, every lifting solution, every product on our shelves is chosen for safety first — even when cleaner options cost more or take longer to apply. Pure Cysteamine through Giusto Beauty for our lifts. Medical-grade adhesive for extensions. Clean professional brands on retail.

  • Customized, never templated

    We don’t do one-size-fits-all. Every lash set is custom-mapped to your eye shape and natural lash pattern. Every facial is built around the skin you walk in with, not a menu item. Every PMU procedure is consulted before it’s booked.

  • Trained, not just licensed

    State licenses are the entry bar, not the standard. Every artist on our team trained in-house at our Bay Park flagship and has to meet our internal certifications before working with paying clients. The standard is consistent across both locations.

Fourteen years of one obsession.

Jamie founded SDL in 2011 — first chair at her sister's tattoo parlor in El Cajon, then a suite of her own in 2013, then the Bay Park flagship in 2017, then La Jolla in 2024. What started as one chair is now a clean professional beauty brand: two studios, a curated practitioner collective, an in-house training program, and a clean lifting chemistry brand. Our two San Diego studios share artists, training, and standards — but offer different specialties and atmospheres. Bay Park is our flagship since 2017: full PMU and waxing menu, training ground for every artist on our team. La Jolla is our 2024 expansion: a curated collective of independent practitioners hosted alongside SDL services, with LightStim LED therapy and full skincare.
