1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to San Diego Lashes ("SDL," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (sdlashes.com), our services, and any products you purchase from us. By visiting our website, booking an appointment, or purchasing products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services We Provide

San Diego Lashes operates two studios in San Diego, California (Bay Park and La Jolla) and provides professional beauty services, including but not limited to: eyelash extensions, lash lifts, brow laminations, brow shaping and tinting, permanent makeup (microblading, combo brows, powder brows, lip blush, eyeliner), waxing, skincare treatments, microchanneling, and LightStim LED therapy. We also sell skincare retail products via our online store.

3. Booking, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

  • Booking: Appointments may be booked online via our booking partner (Mangomint), by phone, or by email. A valid credit card may be required to hold an appointment.
  • Cancellation: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) may be charged 50% of the service price.
  • No-shows may be charged 100% of the service price and may be required to prepay future appointments.
  • Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule or shorten your service to avoid disrupting other appointments. The full service price may still apply.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices listed on our website and at our studios are in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice.
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other electronic payment methods as offered at the studio or via our online checkout.
  • Gratuity is not included in service pricing and is appreciated for service providers.
  • Package and series pricing is non-transferable between individuals and non-refundable once any session has been used. Unused sessions do not expire unless otherwise specified at time of purchase.

5. Health Disclosures and Client Responsibilities

For your safety, you must disclose all relevant health information at the time of booking and again at your appointment, including but not limited to: pregnancy or nursing status, allergies, sensitivities to products or chemicals, recent skin treatments (chemical peels, retinol use, laser treatments), active skin conditions, recent injectables or other cosmetic procedures, and any medications that may affect your treatment.

Some services are not recommended during pregnancy or with certain medical conditions. Our providers reserve the right to refuse or modify services based on safety considerations.

You agree to follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided by your service provider. Failure to follow these instructions may impact your results and is your responsibility.

6. Refunds and Service Guarantees

  • Services: Due to the personal nature of our services, all service sales are final. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us within 7 days and we will work with you to address the concern (which may include a complimentary touch-up at our discretion). Refunds for completed services are not provided.
  • Retail products: Unopened, unused retail products may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase for a refund or exchange. Opened products are non-refundable for hygiene reasons unless defective.
  • Gift cards: Non-refundable and non-transferable for cash.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we use professional-grade products and trained, licensed practitioners, individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed. By receiving services from SDL, you acknowledge that:

  • You have disclosed all relevant health information truthfully.
  • You understand that beauty services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions, skin irritation, and unexpected results.
  • You release San Diego Lashes, its owners, employees, and contractors from liability for any reaction, dissatisfaction, or injury arising from services received, except in cases of gross negligence.

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services or products is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on sdlashes.com — including text, graphics, logos, images, photos of services and clients (where permitted), brand names, and the overall site design — is owned by or licensed to San Diego Lashes and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our express written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Client photos may be used in our marketing materials only with your express consent at the time of photography.

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. SMS and Marketing Communications

By providing your phone number or email at booking or checkout, you may receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and (with your opt-in) marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to texts or clicking unsubscribe in emails. Standard message and data rates may apply.

11. Online Store Orders

For products purchased through our online store, shipping and return terms are described in our Shipping + Returns Policy. Orders are subject to availability and our acceptance.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
