The retinol you start with. Retinol+ Emulsion 0.3 is a lower-strength sister to the 1.0 — same iS Clinical chassis of botanical-origin retinol, Bakuchiol, Extremozymes, and antioxidants — designed for first-time retinol users, sensitive skin, or anyone needing a gentler entry into the category.

Retinol is the single most clinically proven topical for fine lines, tone, and texture, but it doesn't work if you can't tolerate it. The 0.3 strength delivers visible results — smoother skin, fewer fine lines, brighter tone — without the flaking, redness, and barrier wreckage that scares most people away from retinol for life.

This is the bottle I hand to every client starting retinol from scratch. We also recommend it to clients who tried prescription tretinoin and quit because of the irritation — this is the gentler reintroduction that actually sticks. How to use

1. Use only at night. Apply a pea-size amount to clean, dry skin on face and neck.
2. Start 2 nights a week, increase slowly as tolerated.
3. Layer SPF 30+ every morning. Pause 5–7 days before any in-office resurfacing.
